Pauline Hassan Burkey
Pauline is a non-profit professional specialized in work with immigrants, refugees, women and children. Her experience has led her to lead teams to the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women and also coordinate annual benefits in New York City to raise money for refugee communities. She also worked as a development officer for a non-profit foundation granting to programs on the ground across Sub-Saharan Africa. Pauline is extremely passionate about women’s issues hopes to empower women and girls to overcome cultural stigmas and constraints, obtain access to resources and become advocates for their rights. She currently lives in Kigali, Rwanda with her husband Kenny while she works for World Relief.
